Testimonials
John McKeon, President & Registered Principal at McKeon Financial
“I enthusiastically endorse my friend, Mark James, for State Representative in the 44th District. Mark is a US Army Veteran, a small business owner, and a Marysville City Council Member.
Mark works hard, he believes strongly in law enforcement and supporting our first responders, tackling our homeless and housing problems, and strengthening our local economy.
Mark is a man of integrity, and his conservative, fiscally responsible leadership is desperately needed to help bring balance in Olympia. Please cast your vote for Mark James.”
Anna Rohrbough, Former Mukilteo City Councilmember
“I believe above all in putting the people you represent first. I also believe we need people of integrity who will stand for the truth and are deeply rooted in the community they serve. Councilman Mark James is one of those politicians who holds those same values. It is not until a person holds a position of power that you can truly know their character. Mark has proven you can trust in his. Vote Mark James!”
John Kartak, Snohomish Mayor

As a city council member, he understands that it’s the local communities that make Washington State so wonderful. The weight of Seattle’s influence reaches across our entire region, but here in the 44th Legislative District, our schools, businesses, churches, and hardworking families deserve to have an effective voice in Olympia to speak for our values.”

Letters to the Editor
I am recommending Mark James for State Representative of the 44th District. Mark is a Marysville city council member, an integral part of the Marysville business community, a devoted husband and father, and military veteran. Anyone who knows Mark knows that he has spent his life serving others and that he has a passion to better his community. In the time I’ve spent conversing with Mark about some of the more pressing political issues of our day, I have found him to be a thoughtful, fair-minded individual who is more concerned with getting things right than with being right. Sadly, this is not always the case with the ruling class in Washington State, where too often identity politics and extreme partisanship rule the day. A vote for Mark is a vote for solutions, fiscal responsibility, and balance. Mark’s work with the Marysville City Council around opiate addiction and homelessness has demonstrated the kind of creative thinking we could use at the state level (check out the Embedded Social Worker program). Policies that support and equip law enforcement to provide for public safety need not be divorced from a compassionate response to victims of homelessness and addiction. We need more leaders who have the ability to think through complex issues like this and offer holistic solutions. Mark is this type of leader and I’m proud to support him for State Representative.
– Kevin Poirier, School Psychologist, Marysville
It is an honor of mine to recommend Mark James as our state representative for the 44th Legislative District. Mark currently serves on the Marysville City Council and owns a small business. Mark is also a U.S. Army military veteran. Mark is married and a father to three young men who are also in law enforcement.
He currently has the endorsement of the Washington Council for Police and Sheriffs as well as Human Life to name a few organizations.
Mark is thoughtful when answering questions about issues that face our citizens in the district. He will take the time to listen to all constituents and will treat you with kindness, love and compassion. Mark is focused on getting to solutions that are the best for as many as possible. He understands the importance of fiscal responsibility and will bring that expertise to the state level. He will be fair and balanced. He is willing to take on the tough challenges that we face such as the homelessness issue and the problem of drug addiction.
Mark is a servant to all and will listen to everyone on matters that are concerning to you. He is a person of high integrity and will make an excellent state rep. You will not be disappointed if you vote for Mark James as our next state representative for the 44th District.
